How to build Miniature 1:12 Scale Benches using Miniature Table Saw

This is my introduction to you all! My name is Jose F Rodriguez and I have been building museum quality 1:12 scale furniture replicas for over 45 years.
In this video I show you what it is that I create in 1:12 scale and I’ve also thrown in a demo of how to create identical duplicates of a simple little wood bench project.

I feature the PREAC Precision Miniature Table Saw.
Which is basically the finest most precise miniature table saw ever
made.
Though not in production at the present time due to the creator and company owner’s passing, there are current discussions of bringing back production in the future.

I hope you all enjoy this 1st video on this subject and the many to soon follow!

In looking for a supply of beeswax to make some food-safe finishes I met with a beekeeper who needed a custom sign made. We made a deal and I set to work on the sign.

I carved out material on a maple board using a woodworking router, filled the recess with paint, and then cleaned up the surface of the board. The project is fairly straightforward and would be an easy one for newer woodworkers.

The tools needed are a saw, a router, and a sander.

Materials needed are carbon paper to transfer the design onto wood, paint to fill the recesses, and any wood finish.

Squares – Choosing and Using Them in the Workshop — A woodworkweb.com video

http://www.woodworkweb.com/woodwork-topics/work-shop-tips/412-make-it-accurate-with-the-right-square.html : Making good joints and wood projects that fit together nicely begins by having your machinery set up accurately, and the only way to do that is to make sure you have accurate squares to do that with. In this video we look at different squares and which ones are more suited for setting you equipment more accurately and which ones are for rougher construction work.

Woodworking Tips: Using Barrel Hinges

In this week’s handy tip, George Vondriska teaches you why he loves using barrel hinges on his cabinets, and teaches you why you have to be careful when installing them that you do so properly. You’ll quickly find if you make a mistake that the unique mechanism used in these hinges allows no room for adjustment after you’ve already punched the holes in your project.
