16000 Woods Plans And Ideas == http://bit.ly/16000WoodsPlans
I’m very much into woodworking as I like to build stuff myself. However, due to work and time constraints, I couldn’t afford to do much of my own research.
That’s the reason I always look for books/guides that are easy to follow and offer the complete plan when I have a project in mind. So when I heard about Ted’s Woodworking with 16,000 plans, I was excited.
I bought the package on the fly without really thinking much. It sounded awesome, and for the price it seemed to be a steal.
After buying the book, I set out to go through the whole thing. Well, it indeed had thousands of plans within the package with detailed videos to boost. But it was nowhere near 16,000 plans as advertised. I watched a couple of videos and they weren’t even produced properly.
There was something amiss here. I remembered seeing some of the plans elsewhere.
I told myself “He couldn’t sell other people’s work, could he?”
That was when I decided to dig deeper to find out exactly what was going on.
Ted’s Woodworking Review – Find out The Real Truth
The truth was shocking.
I came across this review where the blog’s owner (a woodworker himself) revealed that all the plans put together in Ted’s package were all already publicly available. All the videos were also taken from public sources like Youtube.com or Vimeo.com.
Further research revealed that most of his so-called “original plans” were stolen from: http://www.furnitureplans.com & http://www.beesource.com
Stealing other people’s work is indeed terrible. The worse thing is that it seems his product was still incredibly popular and so many people promote his site. How did he manage to slip through all cracks and fool so many people?
Even the address, contact number, email address were all bogus. Video Rating: / 5

Have You Wasted Countless Hours And Dollars And Been Incredibly Frustrated By Your Poor Results Because You Chose To Wing It Or Followed Poor Woodworking Plans?
You know, it’s funny really. Most of us try to take shortcuts to save time and/or money with just about anything in life, including hobbies like woodworking. And we never seem to learn our lesson.
In the end these types of shortcuts only lead to frustration and a waste of time and money!
But it wasn’t always that way. I used to take shortcuts to save time and money – only it never worked out that way. At one point I came to the realization that I needed to take my professionalism up a notch and begin using woodworking plans to help me out with my project.
Here’s what I found…
The Majority Of Woodworking Plans On The Market Are Vague, Hard To Read And Will Only Leave You More Frustrated Than You Were Before!
What stared out as a good intention (to buy woodworking plans to help me out) only lead to more frustration. I was no further ahead, even after spending my hard earned money on some plans to help me out.
Truth is, I wanted to get my hands on high quality furniture and craft plans. But, the problem is, all of the plans that I could find were hard to read, incomplete, and did very little, if anything, to help the situation.
Having said that, there were definitely some diamonds amongst all of the crap out there. It took me years to compile my collection of woodworking plans. I am still collecting (I don’t think I’ll ever be finished) but currently, at the time of writing this letter to you, I have over 9,000 plans!
Good news is, I have packaged all of my plans together and put them into an easy to use format to make your life so much easier….

I have used disposable plastic take away containers to store all my hardware and small parts for years and have wanted to build a unit to store them for nearly as long. I started by messuring up and doing my sums as to determin my dimensions then grabbed some scrap ply from some table tops I rebuilt for a wine bar a while back ( this will be up soon stay tuned!) and cleaned them up, sanding and filling the worst of the holes.
Next I scribbed all my lines on what would be the upright pieces and cut them all in on the table saw. It took 3 passes for each but I cut one on each piece filipping sides to and faces. These were cut to an managable size on my (unsecured ) mitersaw then cut to size on the tablesaw. Everything got a couple coats of paint then tops and bottoms had the dados cut with a quick jig which I was very proud of inventing untill I realised people had been copying me for many years before I thought if it. Everything was then glued and brad nailed together checking for square. There was a lot more fetteling to get this done than there was time to show in the video but it all went together well in the end.
I cut stripps of some left over pine I had from making picture frames and glued these to the front. These were held in place with masking tape as I didn’t want nails visable on the front. On the back I cut strips slightly wider with a rebateto allow a hardboard back to be slotted in. This were glued and nailed inplace as its the back. Any little marks left were filled, then sanded and the trip was given a couple of coats of dannish oil and left to dry over night. Then next day I tapped the edges and gave the top and sides one more coat of paint and then they were done! Video Rating: / 5
A quick demonstration of my favorite shop made improvements and innovations for space saving and low cost. A revolving tool station, a mutant shop vac, the cross cut sled, a mechanical workbench and more.
The “lift” mechanism for the workbench and the double drawer slide idea come from American wood worker mag feb 2014. Everything else (as best as I can remember) is original.

The duct tape part was meant to be a joke. As I was taking the fan out of the box I decided it would be more entertaining to use the cardboard box the fan came in instead of making a wooden box with latches. This is why I painted the box and all that. However, in the context of the video most people think that was the design from the beginning. Taping the box each time would certainly be wasteful, and there are many options that are better such as latches or Velcro.

The design includes a pegboard skirt that lets you hang your most-used tools right on the bench. So, no more hunting around the shop for gear in the middle of a build. Today I’ll cover the design and construction of the bench. Video Rating: / 5
Build these really handy small Japanese sawhorses. They are built using some common 2×8 lumber, and can be built fairly quickly. I’m using this project to practice using all hand tools and woodworking in a traditional Japanese woodworking space.
