Kinetic Tetherball desk toy (Codename: H.A.T.S.) – Woodworking project

Welcome to Wood ‘n’ Stuff w/ Steve French!

This cool Kinetic Tetherball desk toy has intrigued everyone I’ve shown it to, including all the guys at the local woodworking club. I don’t know the origin of this kinetic device but I like it. I became aware of its existence from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-OY0KxRdgQ&list=FLVE5QcIh7Ycj8e4o4BMGaag&index=6 .

I’ve taken the time to work out all the dimensions and
sketched up some plans that you may print out for free. In this video, I’m making a batch of 40, which I am selling as “kits” (requiring a minor amount of assembly). You, of course, only need to make one of each part.

Download plans here: http://s65.photobucket.com/user/WoodworkerSteveFrench/library/Kinetic%20desk%20toy_Tetherball

It’s an easy project that packs a lot of bang for your effort. So it seems like a perfect project to share here on my channel. Enjoy and thank you very much for watching. Please take a moment to comment, rate, subscribe and share. Have a wonderful day.

Tack Trunk Woodworking Project | Introduction

http://HomegrownFurniture.com – Revisiting a favorite woodworking project from a few years back – the tack trunk. This project is used by horse owners and riders to store equestrian supplies at the stables. Over the years, I’ve had good luck building this design for tack trunks as well as blanket chests and toy boxes. Today I’ll go over materials, jointery and building costs for the trunk.

Coin Sorter Woodworking Project For Kids Easy!

In this video, I show off a middle school STEM project that my students are really excited about. Working with your hands and solving problems is an art that is lost in the United States. I teach engineering and technology because I feel it is a skill set that our kids need. Take the time to build this project, and pass you knowledge onto someone close to you.
