A new method for storing my hand tools and allow me to get rid of my pegboard. I decided on using french cleats to hang screwdrivers, pliers and other items. It’s a really flexible system that lets you get creative customizing it.

I was talking with some friends in the chat room at World of Wood and we were discussing French Provincial furniture. The question was raised about how to carve the bead that furniture of that style has along the bottom of the aprons. This is a video of how I learned how to do it when I did my apprenticeship at Renaissance Custom Furniture. The photo at the beginning of the video is a vanity I worked on while I was there. That vanity is still available for purchase.
