This is my introduction to you all! My name is Jose F Rodriguez and I have been building museum quality 1:12 scale furniture replicas for over 45 years.
In this video I show you what it is that I create in 1:12 scale and I’ve also thrown in a demo of how to create identical duplicates of a simple little wood bench project.
I feature the PREAC Precision Miniature Table Saw.
Which is basically the finest most precise miniature table saw ever
Though not in production at the present time due to the creator and company owner’s passing, there are current discussions of bringing back production in the future.
I hope you all enjoy this 1st video on this subject and the many to soon follow!

Here’s another great small project for the holidays. Its a small Contemporary Clock. This piece should take about two days to build. And this is another project that can benefit from the batching process. So be sure to make a bunch!
And just to help you along, I did my best to create a working SketchUp file that should be perfectly to scale. Just keep in mind that I am by no means a Sketchup expert, so please give all measurements the “common sense check”. After reviewing the sketch myself, I realized that the width of the center square piece is about 1/16″ off. Rest assured, it should be 3 1/2″.

My daughter has more shoes than any 3 year old I’ve ever known. They get strewn all around the place and make a mess. I decided to build a shoe rack/bench to hold all her shoes. It is made from some more recycled pine from some pallets. Some of it is beetle kill pine. It is finished with a couple coats of danish oil. It makes a great place to keep all her shoes together.

In this video, I will take you step by step through building this beautiful bookcase. While the materials aren’t cheap (around 0), the result is a stunning piece of furniture that will be in your family for decades to come!
